Sony Ericsson W350i is a device that was released on the market about a year ago, and which is reported to be on its way back to the shelves. The handset won't come the same as the original model, but as a special edition that will go on sale through Vodafone, and which, we learn, has been signed by the surf clothing brand “Children Streetwear.”

The new version of Sony Ericsson W350i comes to the market all dressed in white, unlike the original model, which sported a series of colors. In addition, the handset will also feature the El Nino silkscreen logo on the back cover. Wireless carrier Vodafone introduces the new mobile phone for the summer season, it seems, at a price of 69 Euros on a prepaid basis.

When it comes to the capabilities and functionality of the new model, it looks like the original version has been mirrored into it almost entirely. Even so, the W350i El Nino sports a series of new menus, as well as custom screensavers and background images, not to mention the range of stickers designed by Andoni Galdeano (the one who created El Nino).

The specification list of the new Sony Ericsson W350i El Nino shows tri-band connectivity with GPRS and EDGE, as well as Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. Unfortunately, no Wi-Fi seems to have been included in the package, nor GPS, though the device comes as part of the manufacturer's Walkman series, which means that the music playback capabilities have been enhanced.

Other specs of the new Sony Ericsson W350i El Nino include a 1.9-inch display that boasts a 176 x 220 pixel resolution, a 1.3-megapixel photo snapper, without video recording capabilities, and 14MB of internal memory coupled with a Memory Stick Micro memory card slot that supports up to 4GB of additional storage space. FM radio with RDS is also present in the package, as well as TrackID music recognition and a battery that can offer up to 7 hours of talk time or 15 hours of music playback.
