Sony Ericsson wants to wish us a Merry Pinky Christmas and brings a special Pink edition of the W200i Walkman handset, originally released in May this year. Being a Walkman phone, Sony Ericsson W200i comes with some special features that make it excel in playing music.

Sony Ericsson W200i has an internal memory of 27 MB and comes with a 128 MB Memory Stick Micro card. This may prove to be insufficient for a music phone, hence the memory can be extended with another card, for up to 1 GB. The handset offers a Media Player that supports MP3 and AAC and can continuously play music for up to 18 hours. The phone's HPM-64 stereo headset comes with Bass Reflex to make sure the sound quality is an excellent one. Moreover, the Disc2Phone software enables users to easily transfer music from their PC, while the FM Radio lets you pre-set 20 radio stations.

Beside the nice music features, Sony Ericsson W200i doesn't really have stunning specifications. It packs a modest 0.3 Megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and Video recording and a 1.8 inch display with a 128 x 128 pixel resolution. Measuring 101 x 44 x 18 millimeters and weighing only 85 grams, the phone can provide a talk-time of up to 7 hours and a stand-by time of up to 360 hours.

Sony Ericsson W200i Pink has a retail price of about 160 USD, but depending on the plan you're choosing from your carrier, it can go lower. The handset is already available in Romania an other European countries and can make a nice Christmas gift. Or a gift for next year's Valentine's Day, which already knocks on the door if we listen carefully. Anyway, pink may not be your color, so if you want the W200i you can also find it in Pulse White and Rhythm Black.
