Sony Ericsson T707, also known under the codename Elle, one of the unannounced handsets from the mobile phone maker, has been recently spotted at a Sony Ericsson event held in China. The new phone seems to resemble a lot the
W508, although it is reported to be a non-
Walkman version of said device, which has been launched only several weeks ago, back in January.
At the same time, the new
Sony Ericsson T707 seems to look like the older Z610, yet it does not seem to have any particular feature that would make it stand out from the crowd. From what we've heard, the device is expected to come around with a 2.2-inch QVGA main display, as well as with a smaller one on the outside. In related news, we learn that the handset will come in five different colors, including black and pink-violet.
Among the other specs of
the phone we can see a 3.2-megapixel fixed focus photo snapper, as well as a memory card slot for additional storage, and a 1GB M2 memory card that has been included in the package. The new Sony Ericsson T707 also comes with support for quad-band GSM, HSDPA and Bluetooth with A2DP, but these are the only specs that seem to be available for the time being.
The T707 measures 93 x 50 x 14 mm and weighs 98 g. The
new phone that leaked in China is expected to become available on the market sometime in May 2009. For the time being, the company hasn't unveiled any official information on the availability of the Sony Ericsson T707, and details regarding the price tag it would feature are also unknown. On the other hand, given the fact that it should surface to the market in about two months, the mobile phone maker should announce the handset in the near future, so stay tuned to learn the details as they appear.
