Hope it's worth the wait

Sony Ericsson wants to take its time with the developing and release of P5i and will bring it out on the market no sooner than the middle of year 2008. The device is supposed to pack some of the most evolved features and earn a leading place on the mobile phone market.

The picture of this Sony Ericsson P5i handset is not an official one, but just the work of one of this producer's fans. This makes it even clearer that the device was not ready for a release any time soon, as before such major events there usually comes a long period of leaked images, both real and not, as to arouse the interest of the customers. The device is highly evolved and deserves as much attention as possible and a mock-up picture will just not do it.

Sony Ericsson P5i should be a superphone, hotter than most of the others out on the market. The device is rumored to pack a 2.8 inch VGA display which should look great. It will also come equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, although this will stop being such a unique feature in time, as many other handset producers, including Sony Ericsson, have brought out devices capable of this high capture quality.

The device will also include GPS technology to help the owner find his way at all times. Moreover, it should also be a HSUPA enabled one, for the most evolved data transfers, at great speeds. There is also an internal memory of 128 MB, although an external memory solution is sure to be provided as well.

There is a long time left to wait until Sony Ericsson P5i hits the market, as this will happen only towards the middle of year 2008, in May or June. That is if nothing else goes on in the meanwhile to delay it even more.
