Sony Ericsson S500i All Dressed in Flowers

Sony Ericsson has come up with a special edition of its S500i handset, created in collaboration with Jemma Kid, a well-known make-up artist from London, who is also a countess and the sister of the famous English supermodel Jodie Kidd.

The new Sony Ericsson phone has a white case with a floral pattern on it and it's offered together with some make-up products that bear the Jemma Kid brand. More exactly, the box in which the flowered S500i comes includes a Jemma Kidd Nail Varnish, a Lip Gloss Make Up Set and even the chance to participate to a contest that will bring you even more products. Needless to say, this special edition of S500i is targeted for girls and women, although I'm sure Sony Ericsson will not mind if only men buy it - as long as all the phones get to be sold.

Although Yahoo News says the new Jemma Kidd S500i is available from Carphone Warehouse, the handset is actually nowhere to be found on Carphone's website (for the moment, at least). Anyway, we've spotted a unit of the flower-power-ish phone on eBay (at this address), where it's being auctioned and it will probably be sold for about 100 GBP ($200) or even more. The price of the handset on Carphone Warehouse is not known, so we can't compare it with the one from eBay.

Already available in no less than 5 color versions (Steel Silver, Mysterious Green, Ice Purple, Spring Yellow and Contrasted Copper), the S500i is a mid to low-end handset that was created mainly to attract through its design. Among the features of the phone we have a 2.0 inch TFT display with a QVGA resolution (240 x 320) and 262K colors, Music player, TrackID, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Web and email capabilities, Instant Messaging, a 2 Megapixel camera with video, memory expansion slot and quad-band GSM connectivity with EDGE - all in a slider case that measures 14 millimeters in thickness.
