Sony Ericsson Plans an ‘Interesting’ Announcement for Next Week

Sony Ericsson has just posted on Facebook a message unveiling plans to make some announcements as soon as next week.

The company did not offer specific info on what the “interesting news” would be all about. However, the announcement is expected to be made during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and could include new devices.

The handset vendor was already rumored to plan bringing to the spotlight new devices during the next week’s event, and the Facebook message appears to be conforming that.

Xperia arc HD, which was rumored a few times before as the successor for the popular Xperia arc that was launched at last year’s CES, could be included in Sony Ericsson's announcement. Some other new handsets from the company were also rumored to make an appearance soon, and they might be launched next week as well.
