The company has already placed an announcement on its website, calling for people to be present on that day on the webpage to “see how the way you listen to music changes forever,” which suggests that we might witness the launch of a new handset that is to be included in its Walkman series.

It's a common fact that Sony Ericsson already announced that it planned to change its business approach and maintain a focus on entertainment solutions for its users, and the upcoming announcement seems to fit this pattern perfectly.
