More details on the upcoming Paris

Sony Ericsson Paris will apparently be a real smash-hit, if we are to believe the new info unveiled about it. Most of SE's fans are currently waiting for the release of Xperia X1, but it seems that Paris can be even cooler than the X handset.

The Unofficial Sony Ericsoon Blog, which unveiled the first clear picture of Paris a few days ago, has posted new details about the phone, plus two new images, showing that Paris looks really nice, all glossy and elegant.

Said to be a bit slimmer than Nokia N96 (which is 18 mm thick), Sony Ericsson Paris will probably have about the same thickness as Xperia X1 (17 mm) - which is not much for a high-end slider.

Among the newly unveiled features of Paris, we have 3G (HSDPA), Wi-Fi connectivity, VGA screen resolution and pre-installed Google Maps. Moreover, we already know that Paris features a full (sliding) QWERTY keyboard, but now we have a new detail: the keys on the right are black, while the ones on the left are white, probably looking pretty cool. Another new detail is the fact that the phone's 5 Megapixel camera has a protecting lens cover.

Since it comes with the latest Symbian UIQ, namely UIQ 3.3, Sony Ericsson Paris will allow us to browse the web with Opera Mobile 9.5, which is obviously a good thing. Together with GPS and all the other advanced features that Paris will probably pack, the phone seems to be more attractive than everyone expected.

All the above mentioned features of Sony Ericsson Paris are not official, hence the phone might come without some of them, or with some unrevealed (until now) ones. Anyway, Paris is obviously a handset that will be among the hottest ones to come from Sony Ericsson. Hopefully, the Swedish-Japanese company will soon announce a release date and a price for Paris.
