Information for the Vodafone "Havana" collection from Sony Ericsson has been spotted for some while now. It was time for the handset producer to make it official and announce the special edition of the devices that will be part of it.

Three Walkman mobile phones will be dressed in the new Havana color, as part of the new collection. Sony Ericsson W910i, W880i and V640i will be the lucky ones, all packing some impressive performances and great music rendering.

The handsets will also have matching headsets to bring the maximum amount of style in the new phone collection. "The new Havana collection, developed exclusively with Vodafone, incorporates three different music-enabled phones to ensure everyone's mobile music needs are met in a stylish way. The inclusion of the Portable Speakers in the collection means that Vodafone customers will be able to enjoy their mobile music library, wherever they are, and whoever they're with", said Peter Marsden, Vice President and Head of the Vodafone customer group at Sony Ericsson.

Sony Ericsson W910i is a 3G broadband (HSDPA) Walkman phone that will be available in the color of Havana Bronze. This is one of the most evolved solutions coming from this producer when it comes to entertainment; great music quality, 3D games, video, or high-speed Web access. Sony Ericsson 880i will match its Havana color with a stylish, slim 9.4 mm case.

Sony Ericsson V640i is the newest mobile phone from this producer. Its exclusive Vodafone release will also include the model in Havana Gold color. The device is a 3G enabled one, which means that it will be capable of transferring files at fast speeds.

The three Walkman phones will also come with a colour-matched music accessory, the Portable Speakers MPS-70. They will all be available exclusively for Vodafone customers from now on.
