MBR-100 streams music from your Mobile on any Hi-Fi system or PC

You're probably used to hear about lots of strange mobile accessories. Headsets passing as "Fashion for heads", headset radiation shields (proved really futile), Bluetooth Car Kit Packs (to help you stay "legal" whilst driving), tiny-winy 0.1W speaker systems and much more. Some accessories may look cool, but the last thing normal people want to see is another freaking hilarious "head fashion" model.

Here's a device that is probably useful though(really). The Sony Ericsson MBR-100 device allows you to wirelessly blast your favorite tracks stored in the cellphone through your Hi-Fi system or PC. As with many Bluetooth products, compatibility can be a problem. That means you can stream music only if you own a stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) enabled cellphone. Sorry, welcome to machine son! So, if you really want your music to get over the 0.01W speakers barrier, make sure you have this feature. If you don't have it, there's no need to worry (maybe you don't really need this after all).

In a PC scenario, the wireless dongle allows you to transfer files from your cellphone to the PC and the other way around. I'm guessing this could also be used to back-up your contact list (bad guess). For about 10 UK pounds, you can also get other Bluetooth dongles that practically do the same job. Oh, and remember to keep the MBR-100 close to the PC. The device also enables you to adapt wired headphones to connect by Bluetooth to your cellphone.

Anyway, if you've got the cash, this probably isn't a bad place to start experimenting with wireless music. This slick black digital bean can be yours for $40.
