Sony Ericsson K770 has just received its FCC approval, which gives it high chances of seeing a release in the US soon enough. The handset was announced by Sony Ericsson some while ago, but has yet to hit the market.

There are high chances to see the K770 phone in a major release, at a global scale. The device should hit European stores any time soon and now it looks like the US will bring it out as well in the near future. The device has already been spotted on a Polish auction site, in a prototype box, which shows that it is ready to start shipping as soon as it is released on the market.

The Cyber-shot model comes equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and 3x digital zoom. This should make it possible to take some high quality captures and earn this phone a place among the most evolved such devices coming from Sony Ericsson. The phone looks to make it easy for its users to share images through a 3G connection that is capable of reaching data transfer speeds of 384 kbps.

Sony Ericsson K770 is capable of sending emails, instant messages and also receiving RSS feeds. Moreover, it also has a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser that is supposed to make it easy to manage personal blogs and receive a large amount of information. Connectivity is also available through Bluetooth, USB and GPRS, just to provide more solutions for handling personal files.

Being a Cyber-shot does not stop Sony Ericsson K770 from bringing a lot of entertainment for its user. The phone also includes a media player and RDS FM radio. Moreover, it looks fresh and stylish, which should give it a head start with the fashion-oriented customers.

Leaked images and information hinting that Sony Ericsson K770 will soon hit the market keep appearing. Still, there is no official statement on the date when this will happen.
