Hobbies are as varied as people are and, while some like books (either to read or to collect), others to lift weights, others to live their life to the fullest, there are also those who have taken a fancy on mobile phones. Now, some of these like them so much that they even start designing their own concept phones, with results varying from excellent to ridiculous. Most of these concept phones will never see the light of day, but just a select few make it big, and get to be the next models released on the market.

One of the mobile phones die-hard fans is Chefzx, and he has recently posted on the Mobile Review Forum a daring Sony Ericsson concept phone, named Walkman 570.

The designer did not let out too many details about the device, the only information available being, aside from what the photos can tell us, the fact that it would have a 320 x 240 pixel, 16-million color display, shake control (used to command the phone), and a clear bass. Walkman 570 would also glow in the dark, while the internal memory would be of 2GB. This walkman would be made available in blue, purple, orange, green and lavender. In case you’re wondering how much such a device would sell for, you should know that Chefzx said that he would see it priced at $219. Whether he came up with this price with a contract in mind or not is yet unsure.

Speaking of pricing, one would think that, for $219, we would get some goodies with this device. While a touchscreen could be a stretch, it would be nice if we got this phone boosting 3G connectivity, USB port, microSD card slot with up to 32GB, advanced multimedia features and, why not, a 5 megapixel camera.

This, of course, would only be a minimum for this Walkman phone, so feel free to add more features since, for the time being, it's only a concept. If we get to see the phone in stores sometime sooner or later, then we will know exactly how close or far off from the truth we were.
