Shortly after the release of Nokia's E71 and E66 smartphones, India gets another cool mobile phone: Sony Ericsson C902. This is the latest-released Cyber-shot handset and it's one of the slimmest 5 Megapixel mobile phones on the market.

[admark=1]The C902 is part of Sony Ericsson's new line-up of Cyber-shot phones, together with the C702 and the unreleased yet C905 (which packs an 8.1 Megapixel camera).

Coming in a candybar form factor, Sony Ericsson C902 weighs 107 grams and measures only 108 x 49 x 10.5 millimeters. The phone's highlight is, of course, its photo camera, which, besides the already mentioned 5 Megapixels, brings the following: auto focus, image stabilizer, face detection, flash, video recording (with video stabilizer) and touch-sensitive dedicated keys. Moreover, with features like BestPic, picture blogging and video streaming, the C902 is an advanced photo and video device that can satisfy even the most exigent mobile users.

The other features of the thin C902 are: quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE, a QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) TFT display with 256K colors, accelerometer, Media player (MP3, AAC and MPEG-4 supported), TrackID, PlayNow, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, NetFront browser, RSS reader, push email, Instant Messaging, USB 2.0, Java MIDP 2.0, Voice memo and Voice dialing, handsfree, organizer and 160MB of built-in memory, expandable via a Memory Stick Micro card. The Cyber-shot phone relies on a 930 mAh battery, capable of providing up to 9 hours of talk-time and up to about 400 hours of stand-by time.

In India, Sony Ericsson C902 can be bought from Sony Ericsson Experience Stores and leading mobile retail outlets across the country, in any of its two color versions (Luscious Red and Swift Black), for the retail price of 20,995 INR (about $485 or 310 Euros).
