Sony Ericsson unveiled today that its C902 Cyber-shot handset would have a James Bond Limited Edition. Coming in a new color, titanium silver, the James Bond C902 will be available starting November, at the same time with the worldwide release of the newest movie featuring the 007 agent, namely Quantum Of Solace.
The new C902 has a special role in the movie, as it's being used by James Bond himself (played by Daniel Craig) in order to "capture evidence" and help him accomplish his missions. This can be done due to the high-end 5 Megapixel camera packed in the handset, which features auto focus, face detection, flash and BestPic.
Preloaded on the new phone's memory, users will find: a Quantum Of Solace trailer, James Bond themes, screensavers and wallpapers, and an "welcome message". Moreover, the silvery C902 will come with a memory card in the package, which contains even more wallpapers and screensavers, a "Top Agent" game, plus interviews and behind the scenes from the making of the latest 007 movie.
The new C902 comes after another Cyber-shot phone, the K800i, had a James Bond Casino Royale Edition, released back in 2006.
"We are excited to announce the continuation of our relationship with the James Bond films and unveil James Bond's new phone for this year - the limited edition version of our C902 Cyber-shot phone," said Lennard Hoornik, Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Marketing at Sony Ericsson. "With the rich array of content both on the phone and preloaded on a memory card bundled with the C902 Titanium silver limited edition, fans of the secret agent will only get more James Bond with Sony Ericsson."
The titanium silver C902 will be sold for a limited period, at a retail price that has not been announced yet (it will be higher than the one of the normal C902, that's for sure).
Unfortunately, there are no available images with the James Bond Edition of C902, so I guess we'll have to wait until the Quantum Of Solace movie is released in order to see how it looks like.
