Sony Ericsson's solution for best mobile gaming

Sony Ericsson has just developed a new concept that is meant to break the boundaries between mobile phones and PSP devices. The handset focuses on the main drawbacks that mobile phones present when it comes to playing mobile games.

The interesting aspect about what we can see from the design sketch is that Sony Ericsson's new device idea greatly resembles one that has already been out there for some time now. Samsung released the i7 PMP camera phone in January, this year, with a highly similar, if not even identical design.

Sony Ericsson has already managed to bring high performances when it comes to camera phone concepts and especially to music rendering, through the Cyber-Shot and the Walkman line of handset models. The PSP mobile gaming phone seems to be just the natural way to go in order to provide a full range of phone performances for mobile phone users.

Sony Ericsson uses the design in order to make mobile gaming a great deal easier, considering the fact that small screens and buttons make this form of entertainment almost inaccessible on many handsets.

The patent for the PSP mobile gaming device has been dated since 31 May 2007 and features several design details that are meant to make it far easier to handle during gameplay. Its display is capable of rotating and automatically changes orientation from a tall to a wide screen. This is meant to provide the best quality for landscape mode gaming. Even more, the keys from under the display screen immediately change from numeric keys into gaming controls. Such technology might also prove useful for mobile TV viewing, which makes this phone concept even more appealing.

No details on the time when this Sony Ericsson PSP mobile phone will be available have been offered to the public, or an estimate price to come with it.
