Pretty nice look

Sony Ericsson BeiBei, one of the newest SE mobile phones that we know very little about, appeared again in a leaked image, this time all dressed in white. The previously surfaced photos with the handset (appeared about two weeks ago) show BeiBei in a black case, so the newly spotted color is obviously a major change when it comes to the phone's overall look.

The device has quite an unusual keypad, resembling, in its upper part, a game control pad rather than a cell phone one. Among the features that BeiBei will apparently bring, we have the latest Symbian UIQ 3.3 interface Wi-Fi, a good photo camera, Bluetooth and Opera Mobile 9.5. There is also a touchscreen display, a great addition to the phone's d-pad and its alpha-numeric hardware keys. The dimensions of the display are not known and neither are its resolution and the number of colors supported, but it seems to be a screen of around 2.6 inches, most probably with a QVGA (240 x 320) resolution.

The new phone seems to be from the Walkman series, hence it will feature advanced music capabilities like Walkman player, TrackID music recognition and so on. If this is true, BeiBei will be the third-ever touchscreen Walkman phone, after the W950 and W960 models, which come with high-end features (like 4GB and respectively 8GB of internal memory). Most probably, Sony Ericsson BeiBei will also bring high-end features, as most of the touchscreen enabled handsets do.

There is nothing official regarding the BeiBei for the moment, so we don't know when and where it will be released. However, it will surely not come under this moniker, since BeiBei is just an unofficial code-name. Hopefully, Sony Ericsson will decide to present the handset soon with lots of images and pricing details.
