Depending on what rumor you prefer to believe, this Sony Ericsson mobile phone will either come out under the name of K550i, or K770, although I'd be rather surprised if anyone actually cared which of the two names it'll bear.
For once, the photos are nice and clear and you can pretty much get the idea of what the phone is going to look like.
There's no doubt about the fact that the phone you see in the photo is one and the same phone you've seen before, dubbed
LI.
While the design is not the best we've seen, at least the phone looks a little better than in the previous photos.
Sony Ericsson seems to be trying its best not to reveal anything about any of its new phones, the best proof of that being the
AI which was officially announced and got
FCC approved and still there's no official info concerning its features. It looks like we'll have to wait until it starts shipping to actually know what it can do.
The LI is no different. While some photos of it are out, we can only guess what features it includes. The phone is said to come with a 2 megapixel camera with auto focus (notice how it is Cybershot branded, which means that it's mainly a camera phone), FM Radio, M2 card slot for memory expansion and Bluetooth for connectivity. Also, as you can see, the K550i is just about the same size as the newly released
W200.
Other than that, there's not really much to tell. The 'K550i' LI is expected to be released in February and chances are that we'll be hearing something about it at 3GSM, hopefully more than we heard about the AI after the Consumer Electronics Show this year.
