PS Vita owners can watch the upcoming event from their handhelds

Sony has confirmed that it's going to live stream its own press conference from E3 2013 next month to the PlayStation Vita handheld platform.

E3 2013 is set to begin next month, and Sony has already confirmed that it will hold a special press conference on June 10, in which it's going to offer fresh PlayStation 4 details.

While the conference will certainly be live streamed over the web, the company has confirmed that it's also working on a solution so that the stream can be viewed by PlayStation Vita owners on their handheld platform.

The plans aren't set in stone just yet, but Sony confirmed on the PS blog that Vita owners are going to be able to watch the conference come June 10.

During the event, Sony will certainly focus on the PS4, but new PS Vita news can also be expected by owners of the handheld platform.
