Tomorrow Sony is expected to hold a press conference on the grounds at IFA. You best keep in mind to tune in at 10:15 am ET | 9:15 am CT | 8:15 am MT | 7:15 am PT | 2:15 pm GMT | 4:15 pm CET if you don’t want to miss the latest scoop.

However, in anticipation of the event Sony’s upcoming E-Mount camera for smartphones has been leaked in all of its greatness, thanks to serious leakster Sony Alpha Rumors.

So behold the first images depicting the ILCE-XZ1 E-mount camera module with interchangeable Alpha lenses. On top of that, Sony is expected to also launch the QX30 smartphone lens with 30x zoom at the same event.

The shots reveal that the device will come equipped with an Exmor APS-C sensor and bring about Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity plus a popup flash. We’re left in the dark regarding one aspect and this is the size of the sensor. Not for long, though.

Sources familiar with the matter say the camera module will cost around €300 / $393 body-only and around €450 / $590 with 16-50mm lens.

At the same event, we expect to see Sony unveil its newest Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and first Android smartwatch (the SmartWatch 3), so keep checking back with us to get a scoop on all these goodies.
