The company's Summer Sale features a ton of AAA games from a few years back

A brand new batch of games will be added to the discounted list on the PlayStation Network today, part of Sony's Summer Sale event.

The list revealed over the PlayStation Blog is massive, full of top-notch games for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and even PlayStation Portable systems. The announcement also advises Sony's customers to take a look at the PlayStation 4 games offered on sale last week, which will be up for one more week.

The PlayStation 3 list is incredibly long, and it features a lot of great AAA titles, among which Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry, Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Assassin's Creed III alongside BioShock and BioShock Infinite, complete with the Burial at Sea Episodes 1 and 2.

Further selections from the list are Gearbox's wildly popular first-person shooter / role-playing game hybrids Borderlands and Borderlands 2, together with a bunch of DLC.

Fans of shooters have a lot of solid choices in the form of older blockbusters like Bulletstorm, Dead Space 3, Dead Island Riptide, Crysis and Crysis 2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Wolfenstein: The New Order.

Other notable titles are NBA 2K14, Murdered: Soul Suspect, Mortal Kombat, Skullgirls Encore, Saints Row IV, Rayman Origins, some Need for Speed games and Strider.

Fans of a good story will be pleased to find The Walking Dead – Season Pass and The Wolf Among Us – Season Pass among the offerings.

The PlayStation Vita list of titles is a bit shorter, but it also features a lot of enticing games, such as the God of War Collection, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition, Mortal Kombat and many others.

If you're looking for some indie darlings to keep you company, you can find Steamworld Dig, Stealth Inc.: A clone in the Dark, Limbo and Luftrausers chilling next to Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Rayman Origins and Soul Sacrifice Delta, and if you're looking for a blast from the past, you need look no further than Worms Revolution Extreme.

Looking for something else? Ethan: Meteor Hunter, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z or Ridge Racer might suit you.

The PSP also gets some love, in the form of Breath of Fire 3, EA Sports Fight Night Round 3, Need for Speed Pro Street and Medal of Honor Heroes 1 and 2.

The posted deals will expire on August 27, 2014. In addition to the listed price reduction, PlayStation Plus members also get an additional 10 percent discount.
