The sequel to Sony's Xperia Z1 smartphone is less than two weeks away and the first video showing the so-called Sony D6503 Sirius has just been leaked online.

The 2-minute video demos what appears to be a prototype unit of the Sony D6503 Sirius, which is powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with a KitKat skin applied to it.

Aside from the pretty slim bezel and the vivid color contrast, we can't see much of the device, instead we are offered a better view of what the smartphone has to offer in terms of software.

The Unlock screen, Walkman app, Sony Camera apps and Xperia Theme are just some of the things demoed in the video.

Sony D6503 Sirius is expected to be officially unveiled later this month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, as Xperia Z2. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
