Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile is getting ready for the release of some new Xperia handsets in the not-too-distant future, and some info on them has emerged online today, courtesy of Indonesia’s Postel.

One of the company’s upcoming smartphones has been spotted with model number D5833 attached to it, and will supposedly arrive on the market as a mid-range handset, as XperiaBlog notes.

No official confirmation on the phone is available as of now, but info that emerges online via Postel usually pans out, which would suggest that the new device is indeed real.

The second new phone from the company has been spotted on the same website with model number D2403, which implies that it might be released as an entry-level handset.

In fact, this handset has already emerged online in benchmarks, which confirms that it will arrive on shelves as an affordable device, despite the lack of confirmation on its capabilities.

Most probably, additional details on these devices will be offered sooner rather than later, though Sony might not announce them for a few months longer.

One of the phones that the company has been almost confirmed to bring to shelves this year is the Xperia Z3, which should make an official debut at IFA 2014 in Berlin, yet it’s clear that D5833 will not be it.
