Grand Theft Auto V is definitely the best-selling game of 2013 and Sony's PlayStation 3 console contributed a lot to the number of titles sold last year.

The game was offered separately, but also bundled with the PlayStation 3, so it would make sense for Sony to offer Grand Theft Auto V with the PlayStation 4 once again.

But what about bonus content that might become a selling point for some fans of the game? Well, it looks like Rockstar and Sony are already in talks to bring PlayStation 4 owners some exclusive content.

The information has recently been confirmed by PlayStation UK boss Fergal Gara who told Videogamer that “there's lots of conversations going on but there's nothing to reveal at this stage. Obviously it's an incredible franchise and we're delighted to be working with Rockstar. We'll flesh out the details as soon as we can.”

The folks over at Kotaku were even luckier and managed to get a confirmation of at least one bonus content that will only be available for PlayStation 4 owners who play Grand Theft Auto V.

The information was confirmed by PlayStation Marketing Executive John Koller who said that the PlayStation 4 version of Grand Theft Auto 5 would be packed with a special perk.

There are no additional details on what exactly this perk does, but we will certainly find out more once talks are over and both Rockstar and Sony reach an agreement.

Koller went on and said that there would be an official announcement soon and that Grand Theft Auto V “is a title that did extremely well on the PlayStation 3.”

According to him, Grand Theft Auto is a PlayStation franchise, which started with Sony and they “feel strongly that it belongs as a key platform driver for us.”

Unfortunately, Koller's statement wasn't too clear on what bonuses PlayStation 4 owners who purchase Grand Theft Auto 5 would get, but that's because discussions don't seem to be finalized yet.

In the end, PlayStation 4 owners might get Grand Theft Auto IV for free, an exclusive DLC or just a single perk if they purchase the fifth game in the series.

The important thing is that Rockstar and Sony are already discussing the possibility of bringing bonus content to PlayStation 4 owners, and as soon as they're ready to announce something, we'll be sure to report it. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
