14 DAY TRIAL // After tremendous negative feedback and a few petitions, Sony has finally come forward with new details on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Xperia SP, Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V.
According to a tweet, the update is now in the last stages of development and should go live in late January or early February: “We hear you re: JB 4.3 for #Xperia T, TX, V, SP - we’re making final preps & will start rolling from end Jan / early Feb”
Release dates may vary by region and carrier, so some users may not get the update until late February, in case Sony keeps its promise.
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean should have been available for Xperia SP users last month, but for unknown reasons, the Japanese handset maker decided to delay it until January/February. We will keep an eye out for any new info on these updates, so stay tuned for more details on the matter.
