Sony has finally posted a statement concerning the ongoing errors encountered by PlayStation Vita owners who got the Mega Bundle pack, and has pledged to solve issue NP-2244-2, which prevents them from downloading their free games.

PS Vita owners across Europe were thrilled to hear about the Mega Bundle deal that includes a single low-priced package a 8GB memory card plus 10 great games for the handheld.

Sadly, when users tried to download those free games, many were met with a peculiar error code NP-2244-2 on the PS Store.

After a period of silence, Sony has confirmed to CVG that it's aware of the issue encountered by Mega Pack owners and will solve it as soon as possible.

"We are aware that some PlayStation Store users who have purchased the digital voucher code for the PlayStation Vita Mega Pack have not been able to download the games included in the Mega Pack and have received an Error Code," the company said.

"We are aware of the issue and are actively working on a resolution which we will update you on as soon as we can."

No time frame has been given for the solution, sadly.
