We are always excited when a company decides to share the titles it's going to release: usually, there are lots of pleasant surprises and a few secret game projects become officially confirmed. However, the list of games to be released by SCEA over the remainder of this year and early 2009 didn't bring anything extremely spectacular. Of course, we're talking about 15 new titles to be released, and that is an impressive amount, especially since most of the titles are triple A - the ones we're expecting for quite a while.

So, without further delay, let's check the first-party PS3, PSP, and PLAYSTATION Network game titles due out this year and early 2009!

On the 3rd of June this year, Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 will make its way to the PSP handheld consoles. Developed by Clap Hanz, the game will introduce new characters, hundreds of accessories and six new courses for your utmost pleasure and best PSP golf experience ever!

Secret Agent Clank will soon infiltrate the PSP, on the 17th of June, marking the anticipated return of Ratchet, Clank, and Captain Qwark. Developed by High Impact Games, the game will bring back both the sweet memories and the humor to the PSP owners with a title that promises a twist in the story.

This summer, one of the most beloved PS3 franchises will mark its return with the release of wipEout HD on the PSN. The best tracks from the previous games were selected, re-worked and filled with adrenaline and 1080p support for the fans all over the world to enjoy anti-gravity racing as they never did before!

Another game to be released this summer on the PSN is, this time, a puzzle title, called Elefunk. Your primary goal will be to build strong bridges that will be capable to support the weight of... elephants! A real physics system is promised to be available in-game to generate countless hours of fun.

With PixelJunk's release this summer (again, on the PSN) we'll see if the rumors regarding the introduction of PS achievements are true or not. We're keeping our fingers crossed until then and hope for the best!

SIREN: Blood Curse could be considered one of the most anticipated titles to be released this summer exclusively for the PS3 consoles. Horror gameplay and no less than seven playable characters, as well as lots of promised innovation regarding the playing methods turn us into some Siren fanatics already.

SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Confrontation is expected to hit the PS3 consoles on the 16th of September and bring back the sweet memories of true modern combat action as well as 32-player multiplayer maps for everybody to enjoy!

Definitely the most anticipated title of the fall, LittleBigPlanet will be released in October and will most likely delight the fans all over the world with its innovative concept called "creative gaming". You will be able to play, create, share and do anything you can imagine within the game and you will most likely enjoy the hell out of it. A must have title!

Developed by SCEA San Diego, NBA 09 will hit all the consoles this fall, following the tradition of "same game, new number", probably. Pretty exciting for the fans, though.

Two new Buzz! games will be released for the PSP and PS3 this fall - Buzz! Quiz TV and Buzz! Master Quiz. Over 5,000 questions, multiplayer mode and a few innovations promise to keep you hooked and ready to learn more (or prove your knowledge, that is) this fall.

The most brutal offroad racing festival will return this fall with MotorStorm Pacific Rift exclusively for the PlayStation 3 console. You'll be able to take your racing skills online with up to 20 players or enjoy the four player split-screen mode.

Last two titles to be released by SCEA are arguably the most anticipated. The first one, set to be released late fall, is Resistance 2 - where mankind resumes the fight against the unstoppable Chimera on the shores of the United States. A few of the title's best features: eight-player, class-based online co-op campaign and 60-player online competitive multiplayer.

The first title to be released in 2009 - in February, to be more specific, will be Killzone 2, another highly anticipated sequel. The exclusive FPS promises to bring a life-like theater of war to your console and adaptable AI. A joy to play, a must-have for fans.

As you can see, there are a lot of great titles coming for the PS3 consoles or PSP handhelds. All we need now is to get them. And never hear news about possible delays.
