14 DAY TRIAL // Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile has started to push out a new iteration of the Sony Album application to the owners of Xperia devices out there, namely version 5.4.A.0.12.
Previously, the application was available on devices as build number 5.3.A.0.24, and the change in version itself suggests that this is a major update, as XperiaBlog notes.
One of the features that Sony claims to have been included inside the application is the added support for Android 4.4 KitKat.
This could suggest that the mobile phone maker is gearing up for the launch of the Android 4.4 operating system update for its users, though this is only a supposition for the time being.
The updated Sony Album also comes with PlayMemories Online and other improvements, it seems. The updated apk is already available online, for those willing to grab it manually.
