With only a week before Sony finally reveals its latest interchangeable lens camera and the successor of the NEX-6/7 model, more and more rumors are starting to emerge about its possible specs and design.

According to SonyAlphaRumors, a trusted source has revealed that the upcoming Sony A6000 mirrorless camera model will not be similar with the current NEX-6 camera but, instead, it will look more like Sony's A7 full frame MILC, without the electronic viewfinder placed on top.

Moreover, it seems that the A6000 comes with an enhanced 24MP sensor with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) as well as a faster BIONZ image processor.

The same source also states that the final retail price for the European market will be €650 / $880 for body only and €800 / $1,080 for the kit with a normal zoom lens. Besides the A6000, Sony is also preparing to introduce four new HX/WX compact cameras at the same event.
