As we've mentioned time and time again, it would seem that Sony's decided to throw some new Bravia goodness on the European market almost on a monthly basis, releasing new and attractive LCD TVs at a fairly even pace. And this time they've just unveiled the S4000 series, a family of either full HD or HD ready displays targeting the central position in the entertainment center of your home.

Design-wise, much in the same manner as all of the other models released on the market lately, the S4000 series showcases Sony's 'draw the LINE' design concept. According to Sony, this pared-down styling philosophy enhances the total TV viewing experience without distracting you from what's on the screen. For this reason, the cabinet features a deep piano black finish, with clean, understated lines complemented by gently-rounded curves. There's also a swivel base that allows instant screen angle adjustment to suit viewers anywhere in the room.

The series is comprised of four different models (26-inch, 32-inch, 37-inch and 40-inch), with the largest version featuring a 1080p Full HD panel, complemented by the BRAVIA ENGINE 2 signal processing technology and able to deliver a contrast ratio of up to 33000:1. The other, smaller models are equipped with HD-ready panels and powered by BRAVIA ENGINE technology.

The three devices are also pretty well-equipped from the point of view of connectivity, each featuring three HDMI interfaces for hooking up a wide variety of multimedia appliances, from Blu-ray players to gaming consoles or digital cameras. Additionally, the LCD TVs are also equipped with an integrated DVB-C/DVB-T tuner for enjoying standard definition TV broadcasts and support BRAVIA Theatre Sync technology, for easier control of one's whole multimedia center.

As with most other Bravia products from Sony, there's no info regarding the pricing and availability of the new S4000 line, but this data will probably be revealed for each particular market over the next few weeks.
