14 DAY TRIAL // It's time for everyone to put on their tin foil hats because there is some rife conspiracy going on behind our back in the crazy, crazy world of pop music. Rumors would indicate that Selena Gomez is not only pregnant, but she's also having Justin Bieber's twins.
The whole rumor was started by the photo of a sonogram floating around on the internet in which the name “Gomez, S.” can be clearly seen in one corner, while the center reveals a pair of twins in their early stages of development.
The story was picked up by Holylwoodlife who tried to get down to the bottom of the myth. They acknowledged that the photo did indeed show two baby fetuses, indicating that it was a twin pregnancy but how and when would this have happened remains a mystery.
Selena and Justin have been kind of close lately, but for this to have happened they must have gotten together and gotten intimate in the Biblical sense. The rumors mentioned that while Selena was in Austin, Texas for SXSW she began feeling sick so she went in for a couple of tests.
And it turned out that she was pregnant, or at least that's what the tabloids would have us believe. Selena's dizziness and headaches were immediately put down to her new pregnancy. A word to both Selena's and Justin's reps had yielded the same “no comment” result, which only managed to fan the rumor even more.
After all, if this was indeed a hoax, the reps would have no issue with dismissing it as a blatant lie, but instead they chose the “no comment” stance which would mean that they're not saying it happened, nor are they saying it didn't happen either.
If we're to judge from the briefly posted videos of Selena and Justin dancing together “Dirty Dancing”-style, we would have to say that these two look like they're still intimate and not afraid to show it, despite the fact that the media has them pictured at each other's throats.
The bottom line is that the name on the sonogram was most likely photoshopped onto someone else's pregnancy result because there is no physical indication that these two have spent enough time lately in order to conceive.
So far, they're still trying to work out their relationship issues since at the moment they're on an on-again-off-again basis which has the media scratching its head and creating new romance rumors every time they are pictured in the same room.
