If only subaquatic mobile conversations were possible

One can't help but admire Sonim for always coming up with technologies no one would even think about developing, such as is the latest addition, the XP3 Enduro, which has now become even better. This is all the more an impressive achievement given the fact that such a phone did not have many areas left to develop.

The Enduro is actually the XP1 “reloaded,” but now fully waterproof as well. If, until now, this was approximately the only flaw in its “armor,” it’s good that it has been resolved too. Let's see if, and who can still destroy it now.

Also, the XP3 is now more resistant to shocks, drops from maximum heights of 2m, besides the fact that it can be submerged up to one meter for about 30 minutes, and still be functional during immersion and afterwards. And this is not all, as this mobile is also an IP-57 protection rating device, while its fog, humidity, transportation, salt and thermal shock protection has been significantly improved.

Furthermore, this device will continue to operate as long as temperatures remain between -20C and +60C. And now, to fully convince you that it is almost an indestructible phone, learn that its manufacturers designed it so it can withstand 500,000 pushes per each button. Of course, there is a chance that, after a few weeks, or maybe months, of pushing those buttons non-stop all day long, some damage might occur.

The XP3 differentiates itself from the earlier model by an extra 2.6mm in thickness, and maybe some slight design changes as well. The battery has been changed to a 1180mAh one, while the ability to sync your phonebook with the Microsoft Outlook, which represented a serious problem of its previous model, is now available.

Sonim XP3 will become available sometime this month in Australia, Sweden, UK, Germany, Switzerland and Netherlands, for a price of 290 Euros or $370, taxes and subsidies included.
