Launched in the Google Play store several weeks ago, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II was only supported by Android devices powered by Nvidia Tegra chipsets.

However, starting today Android enthusiasts who own a non-Tegra device will be able to play SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II game.

The sequel to the first episode, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II follows the events in the original game and adds more challenging missions and new zones.

Those who own both episodes will also be able to unlock an exclusive scenario featuring Metal Sonic, which contain four acts across some zones from Episode I, which have been especially reworked to offer an amazing gameplay experience.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II for non-Tegra devices is now available for download via Google Play store for $6.99 and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3 and up.
