Sonic Mega Collection is a collection
of Mega Drive/Genesis games in the Sonic the Hedgehog series that recompiles some older titles for Nintendo GameCube, similar to Sonic Jam. In addition, extra content that provides Sonic history and extra bonus games have been included all in one disc. This was the first Sega game to reunite the classic "SE-GA" chant since the early-late '90s (Sonic 3D Blast has the "SEGA!!" scream), likely included due to the retro nature of the compilation.
