Sonic Is Selling Steroids, Blame Canada!

Looks like your favorite hedgehog and mine has quit his day job and started selling muscle vitamins. Maybe he got tired of fighting Dr. Robotnik or maybe SEGA canned him. Who knows?

What is certain is that the guys over at Kotaku have a picture of him selling food supplements
for those who want to bulk up. To get serious, the exact information is that an image of Sonic the Hedgehog was placed on the window of a sports nutrition store in Ontario, Canada. Sonic was not alone on that store window but be was accompanied by his best friend, the flying two-tailed fox, Miles "Tails" Prower.

Has SEGA licensed this? Are they aware that their copyrights are broken? An Ontario local, named Dave, comments on the Kotaku website, explaining that maybe there used to be a games store there and they just simply forgot to wash the characters off the window. Yeah right.

Who would have guessed back in 1991, when the first game in the Sonic series was launched, that that lovable blue hedgehog will be selling creatine 15 years later. And this is how some are making money of an enormous franchise. Maybe those who buy stuff from there imagine that they will become as fast and as powerful as Sonic. Yeah right!
