Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is now free to download and play on the PC platform via Steam this weekend, meaning any user can try out the karting experience.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed delivered an impressive kart racing experience across many platforms back in 2012 and, since then, Sega has released quite a few different other characters for the game in order to celebrate franchises like Football Manager or Company of Heroes.

Now, the title has received a free weekend on the Steam digital distribution service, as well as a 75% discount.

From now until Sunday, December 8, at 1pm PT, all Steam users can download and play Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for free.

Until Monday, at 10am PT, the 75% price cut is also in effect, to tempt users into buying the kart racing game.
