Songbird has been updated to version 2.0, which brings to the table only two changes. One of them is the songbird.me web app add-on and the other is an updated lighter skin.
However, the web app add-on is comes with an interesting set of features. First off, there is the “What’s New” feed that is designed to broaden your audio experience to new releases.
It also offers seamless integration with songbird.me cloud service for a more updated experience and lets you see the artists that your friends are following.
Furthermore, through the web app you can listen to preview tracks from newly discovered artists and check detailed bios about them.
Logging into the web app is done with your Facebook credentials, so you can get recommendations based on who you are following and you can share your artistic preferences with your friends.
