Nicolas McCabe, a 9-year-old boy from Moore, Oklahoma, was killed together with six other children in a horrible tornado that hit their elementary school. Six weeks after the boy's death, his figure seems to appear in a photograph of his cousin taken on July 4.

Scott McCabe, the boy's father, is certain that his son's ghost is still with them, using his niece’s photo as evidence. In the photo, the little girl is holding a sparkler celebrating July 4, while behind her another person seems to appear. The other figure in the photo resembles a young boy, “I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Nicolas loved the Fourth of July and he loved firecrackers,” the boy's father tells News 9.

Since his brother showed him the picture, Scott is convinced that the other figure is his son, who stayed here to watch over his family. The grieving man says “my brother, when he saw it [the photo], he said the hair stood up his neck, I was in awe. It touched my heart. It's obviously not Madison. It's obvious there are two people there or one person there and one spirit there.”

Besides the fact that the boy resembled the figure in the photograph, Nicolas's dad insists that his son was buried in his red Plaza Towers T-shirt that can be seen in the picture. This was enough proof for the grieving parent to believe his son is not truly gone from this world.

Many non-believers have argued that the double image was due to a blurry image or a shake to the phone causing a double frame. “They can say what they want. I believe. I believe he's watching over us,” Scott McCabe told the press while supporting his idea that his precious son has shown himself from beyond the grave.

After the horrible tornado that took the lives of seven innocent children, the McCabe family started a foundation called “SOS” (Shelter Oklahoma Schools) to honor their child's memory and to help schools build the shelters they need in case of natural disasters.

Many schools in Oklahoma, like Nicolas's school – Plaza Towers Elementary, don't have tornado shelters or safe rooms because of the lack of funds. Despite the frequent tornadoes hitting the area, many facilities are still not prepared. The SOS charity foundation hopes to raise enough funds to equip all schools with shelters so that what the sad event that happened at Plaza Towers Elementary School will never repeat itself.
