Somebody Needs Victoria Beckham After All

Hope it doesn't turn into a major disaster

If you're a Posh fan, don't get too excited. The former and current Spice Girl and USA's official number one pointless celebrity, Victoria Beckham, was asked to come to the aid of the Spice Girl mate Melanie Brown (also known as Mel B. and scary Spice) who stars in the American show "Dancing With The Stars", which kicked off last week. Mel apparently managed to impress the American Judges with her cha-cha routine and is now looking out for some more glitz and glamor.

Victoria is currently in Japan where she promotes her perfume range, which in the States failed to bring her the fame she was expecting. I don't know why Mel B. thinks Victoria can help, as I'm sure she can do a great job on her own. I mean, Victoria does have her own jeans range and also creates jeans for Rock And Republic, but that's about it. Oh, I get it - I think it's got something to do with Posh fancying herself a style icon - but I still think she's got a long way to go until she becomes a serious threat to Carrie Bradshaw.

Given the fact that Mel B. announced that Victoria is going to make an appearance in one of the shows, I rather tend to think that Posh actually begged Scary to do something to help her make sure people don't forget her name any time soon. "Victoria is gonna come to one of the shows" Mel B revealed. "She is excited, she said, 'I have to design your costumes'. We're sorting that out at the moment as I'm very keen for Vic to put her stamp on my costumes. Everybody knows she has amazing style, just look at all the different dresses and looks she pulls off and the trends she starts".

Yes, it's just as I expected. It's nice of Mel to rush to the aid of her friends when they need her, but this move is a little too obvious on Victoria. Mel sure sounds like she's been brainwashed. "I want her to help design a couple of my looks for me, so we're sitting down to throw about some ideas shortly" she added. I only hope Victoria doesn't ruin it for her and make her come out in the open wearing that atrocious shade of orange she wore for the New York Fashion Week. Be strong, Mel. Don't let the plastic get you down.
