In what is probably the most ugly divorce in the entire Hollywood history, the former husband and wife for more than 16 years, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach, are again at each other's throats. It all started on Sunday night when Hayley, one of the couple's daughters, was scratched by the family cat.
According to Bach, Hayley was bleeding profusely from the scratch on her forearm and couldn't stop crying. Seeing this, she called David and told him about the incident, also saying that maybe it would be good if the teenager saw a psychologist. The Hoff responded to this by threatening Pamela that she would 'be going down'.
The 'Baywatch' star used this window of opportunity to make Bach look bad in the eyes of the public (or so she says), by calling the police and telling them that his daughter has attempted suicide while in the very same house with her mother.
The only thing that has been established until now is that, indeed, Hayley was bleeding from a wound on her arm, for which she was taken immediately to a hospital. After the doctors saw to the wound, she was released.
The actor's publicist, on the other side, claims that David did not even talk to his estranged wife that night and that he merely called 911 as he was concerned about his daughter's condition. He said that the actor had spent all that day with his two daughters and, when he was boarding a plane out of town, he was called by the other daughter, who told him that Hayley was scratched by the cat and the bleeding would not stop.
As the world is already accustomed, when it comes to The Hoff's divorce, all this took place right in the public eye, with Bach making statements to both TMZ and Access Hollywood, while Hasselhoff's publicist made his speech in front of TV cameras.
