Among the many features that Windows Phone 8 will have to offer to its users, one might seem highly appealing to many.

Apparently, the platform might land on shelves with support for dictation in some applications, a feature that has become standard in mobile operating systems lately.

Windows Phone 8 will come not only with voice search, but also with expanded voice commands, rumor has it.

The email app, for example, will feature a “talk” option, those who played around with the leaked Windows Phone 8 SDK report. The feature did not work in the emulator, but it is expected to be fully functional on smartphones once the OS becomes officially available.

What is yet unknown is to what extent users will be able to take advantage of this functionality on their devices.
