If you already got bored with Splinter Cell: Double Agent there is still hope for you as some new content has been released. But not everyone had the chance to get bored with the game as it was released only for the Xbox 360, PS2 and GameCube and the PC and Wii versions are a few days apart.

But still, those who have the Xbox version of Double Agent would like to know that the Xbox Live Marketplace has now some new Sam Fisher and friends content. This new content consists of a Splinter Cell Double Agent Theme and 4 pictures packs.

The Double Agent theme will set you back some 150 Microsoft points and is not available in Mexico and Asia. The first and second pictures pack contains 5 gamer icons of Sam Fisher as Double Agent and the third pack features gamer icons of Splinter Cell's main female character, Enrica. The last picture pack shows the new multiplayer mode present in Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

The game was originally set for release in March 2006, but was pushed until September 2006 by Ubisoft to extend their development period. What is interesting in Double Agent is that the games' story is slightly different on each platform, namely the Xbox 360 version has a different twist from the PC version and so on.
