Microsoft gives users the chance to find the release date

Windows 10 for phones preview is expected to launch anytime soon, but Microsoft not only that has refused to provide us with exact details of this release but it also tries to stir up interest in the new operating system for mobiles by teasing us with new specifics every once in a while.

This time, Gabriel Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, posted a puzzle on Twitter to let users find out the release date of the next Windows 10 TP build, but nobody has until now managed to solve it.

Obviously, do not expect this to be the kind of puzzle that 5-year-olds can solve, as it's pretty clear that Microsoft tried to do it as hard as possible because otherwise people would go crazy over the release date and call for the company to bring it as soon as possible and even blast it for any delay that might occur.

“How about a puzzle?”

So here's the puzzle that Aul posted on Twitter earlier today:

This is a REAL answer if you can solve it: 1316.”

Obviously, it all comes down to the four numbers at the end of the tweet, which should be somehow related to the date when Windows 10 for phones preview could come out.

Until now, nobody has guessed it, Aul says in a tweet posted a few minutes ago, so if you can figure it out, make sure that you leave a comment below to let others know about it as well.

According to our information, Windows 10 for phones preview should launch sometime this week, while next week or the one after that should bring us a new technical preview build for PCs. Details on both releases are completely missing, but more will be disclosed at a later time.

Below you can find some of the answers that users offered to the puzzle:
