Bungie has set up a small guide to fix one of the most common error codes displayed by its new Destiny shooter – the Boar one, which seems to be affecting PS3 owners from around the world.

Destiny came out earlier this week and delivered a pretty impressive multiplayer shooter experience, allowing fans of developer Bungie to finally check out what the studio has been working on for many years.

However, the game has also encountered quite a few different errors, which use code names after different animals and insects.

Now, Bungie has set up a guide to help PS3 owners fix Destiny error code "Boar," which has apparently started affecting quite a few users of the old Sony home console.

Apparently, according to the website, the error appears when there is a region mismatch between the local PSN account and the Destiny game. For example, if a European PSN account tries to play a North American copy of Destiny, the code might appear.

One solution is to create a new PSN account or use one that matches the region of the game. In case the error continues despite such a course of action, a reinstall of Destiny is advised. If that also doesn't work, then Bungie believes that it might have something to do with a damaged or malfunctioning PS3.
