SolusOS, a modern operating system based on the popular Linux distribution, Debian, which works out of the box, with great support for all modern day computing needs, is now at version 1.3.

According to the developers, this is probably the last version release for this branch and their development efforts are focused on the 2.x version.

Highlights of SolusOS 1.3:

• Mozilla Firefox has been updated to version 18.0.2 and the 19.0 version should be available soon; • Thunderbird has been updated to version 17.0; • Linux Kernel has remained the same 3.3.6 and the developers chose not to upgrade it because it would have caused too many problems; • GNOME has been updated to version 3.20; • sudo has been updated to version 1.8.5.

A complete changelog with all the updates and changes can be found in the official announcement.
