series of new monthly plans are now available for mobile phone users in Canada, officially announced by Solo Mobile for Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa and Toronto, which include unlimited in-zone talk and text, the Solo Unlimited rate plans.
According to the wireless services provider, the new plans are available for purchase from selected retailers and offer the best choice for talkers and heavy texters on a budget.
“Solo has offered Canadian consumers great value on wireless since 1999 and we think these new Solo Unlimited plans will be a very popular choice for people who want the best deal around on talk and text,” said Blaik Kirby, Senior VP of Mobility Marketing for Solo.
Moreover, the Solo Unlimited plans are complemented by the availability of appealing mobile phones.
Among these devices, we can count the Samsung R100, priced at $59.99, the LG 230, which costs $79.99, the Samsung m330, available for $99.99, the LG Rumour 2 at $129.99, and the Samsung Entro, which costs $149.99.
“The combination of these new plans with Bell's great network and selection of phones means paying less to talk and text just got better,” Kirby continued.
The new plans available from Solo Mobile include the Unlimited Talk 35 plan, which is priced at $35 per month, and the Unlimited Talk & Text 45 option, which costs $45 per month.
Solo's Unlimited Talk 35 plan comes with unlimited in-zone calling, unlimited province-wide calling for calls originating from within the zones, unlimited province-wide received text messages and 50 sent text messages.
The Unlimited Talk & Text 45 plan packs unlimited in-zone calling, unlimited Canada-wide sent and received text messages, unlimited Canada-wide calling for calls placed from inside a zone, and voicemail.
According to the wireless carrier, both new plans include Call Display, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding and Three Way Calling.
