Here's a headset that will please all those who find it uncomfortable and, at times, painful to use one of those models that put the ear cups right on the ear lobe.

Called SolarBlast, and bearing the part number of X2-HS7502-USB, the new audio output device is made for gamers who like black-red color schemes.

The headset produces virtual 7.1 sound and is said to possess “amazing” sound quality.

A bass button is built into the left ear cup, along with a volume control dial. There's a microphone there too, of course.

Basically, the X2 SolarBlast has everything a headset would need and is just large enough to settle over one's ears without causing aches after extended time periods.

PCs and Mac systems are supported, via the USB2.0/3.0 port, and the price of the product is $59.95 / €44.95.
