It was going to be the video that would shatter the idyllic image of one of the highest rated musical marriages, that between Jay Z and Beyonce. In the incriminating clip, Beyonce's sister, Solange, can be seen lashing out violently at Jay Z while Beyonce stands passively in the background.

Much ink has flowed over the incident in question and Beyonce and Jay are still fighting off the repercussions of the scandal that emerged and has destroyed their happy-marriage image. Today, Solange has finally decided to address the issue in her interview with Lucky Magazine.

She doesn't offer a lot of details when asked about “that thing,” but does reveal that “What's important is that my family and I are all good.” She adds, “What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that,” just to make sure that there is no confusion about where she stands on the issue.

For her, it's all well and good, but her sister is still struggling to mend her reputation of happily-married wife. Just last weekend, divorce and infidelity rumors came back to life more powerful than ever, when Beyonce changed the lyrics to a song in mid-concert, leaving to interpretation that Jay Z had been cheating on her.

Jay Z also is under the magnifying glass at the moment, being paired up with just about every woman he's come into contact with. The latest famous name to be added to the list is singer Mya, as a rumor mentioned the two have been having an affair for years now. Mya denied any involvement with the rapper, trying to quench unruly fans who resorted to sending her death threats.

At the time of the incident, the family released a statement that was meant to sugar-coat what was a serious blow to their public image. The statement used words like “love,” “family,” and “together,” trying to divert attention from the fact that Solange had tried to beat her sister's husband in an elevator after a party in New York.

“The most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologised to each other and we have moved forward as a united family,” read the statement that still didn't address the issue as to what exactly caused the incident.

From this interview, it's clear that Solange has no intention of spilling the beans just yet, and neither are the rest of the people involved in the altercation for that matter.
