It seems that the family feud does involve Beyonce after all

Solange and Beyonce traveled together to Costa Rica for Kelly Rowland’s wedding on Friday, days after Solange beat up Jay Z in front of Beyonce in an elevator, but that doesn’t mean that everything is back to normal between the two sisters.

With each hour, fresh details about the violent incident are coming to light, and they all paint the picture of a dysfunctional family to the extreme, despite attempts from all of them to come across the exact opposite of that.

Let’s catch up a bit first: after the MET Gala 2014 last week, the three went to an afterparty where, allegedly, Solange might have drunk a bit too much alcohol. On the elevator down to their awaiting cars, she launched at Jay Z, punched and kicked him, threw her purse at him and yelled what we could only imagine to be very colorful profanities.

It was all caught on camera, as the elevator was connected to the surveillance system. Someone from the hotel where the afterparty was hosted sold the video to the media and, from then on, as the saying goes, the rest was history.

What stood out about the video, besides the violence with which Solange attacked Jay repeatedly, indicating she was well past the point of reasoning, was that Beyonce hardly intervened. Some believe that she didn’t want to side with either party because she didn’t want to get caught in the middle, because she wanted to let them solve their own problems.

There are also those who believe she didn’t intervene because Solange had actually attacked Jay because she was defending her. Others speak of a rift between the two sisters, saying Beyonce doesn’t give a rat’s you-know-what about Solange, so she didn’t deign to acknowledge her angry fit.

That last theory was somehow invalidated by the news that, just days later, they flew to Costa Rica together on private jet, as if nothing had happened.

Yet, one day after the altercation, Beyonce was tweeting cryptic messages about how she was asking God to help her to remove all toxic influences from her life. Also, sometime between the MET Gala attack and today, Solange actually deleted all photographic evidence of Beyonce from her Instagram – and trust us, she had plenty of photos together.

The only one left live now is the pic above, dated 2013, to which one fan commented: “You forgot to delete this.”

Various celebrity blogs and glossies believe that this is a clear sign that the two sisters are no longer on speaking terms. However, even assuming that’s the case, whether they’d actually take their family dispute to Twitter, albeit in such a cleverly subtle way, is entirely another matter.
