After confirming it earlier this year, Valve has now officially started selling software products on its Steam digital distribution service, including programs like its own Source Filmmaker, but also other ones like 3DMark 11, GameMaker: Studio, and more.

Steam is one of the biggest digital download services in the gaming industry, serving great titles to PC and Mac users, and soon to Linux ones as well.

Now, Valve is branching out the service and has started offering software programs to its millions of users. While the initial products aren’t that many, as only 7 programs are on sale, they include various premium and free applications, so check out the full list below.

What’s more, GameMaker: Studio also supports Steam achievements and users can show off and share their work by uploading it into the Steam Workshop.

In classic Valve manner, all software products are currently discounted by 10% until Tuesday, October 9.
