Today's highlights are a Ferrari-themed notebook from Acer's line of products, the Ferrari 1000 and Dell's Latitude E6420 notebooks.

The Acer is a 12" notebook powered by a Thurion 64 X2, 1.56 Ghz processor and sports a max capacity of 4 GB DDR2. As you've realized so far, the Acer Ferrari 1000 is not one of the new-generation notebooks, but since it bears an iconic name, we thought kindly of it.

On the other hand, the E6420 laptop comes with a 14" display and is driven by a second generation Intel Core CPU (i3, i5, or i7). On the video side, the E6420 can house up to 8 GB DDR3 and beats Acer's silly X1150 graphics with a no-nonsense Intel HD 3000/ Nvidia NVS 4200M graphic combo.

But, since we're not doing a laptop shootout here, there you have today's BIOS:

Asus M4A785TD-M EVO Bios 2104 Dell Latitude E6420 Notebook Bios A08 HP G70-457CA Notebook BIOS F.65 Intel DX79SI / DX79TO BIOS 0424 Intel DX79SI / DX79TO Iflash BIOS 0424 Intel DX79SI / DX79TO Express BIOS 0424 Acer Ferrari 1000 Notebook BIOS 3204

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent BIOS version available. Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest BIOS files.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a BIOS or device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong BIOS or driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
